Lifeguard

UCSF Fitness & Recreation is hiring Lifeguards at its Millberry and Bakar fitness centers in San Francisco. Lifeguards are responsible for patron and facility safety, including in-water rescues, providing first aid, and enforcing facility rules. They also provide member services such as customer service, knowledge of program schedules, and information on facility amenities. Lifeguards are expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. The role requires a current and valid lifeguard and CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. A Title 22 certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
