Job Overview
The Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center Health System and Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is recruiting Emergency Physicians for a Clinical Nocturnist Focus track. The nocturnist track combines patient care with bedside teaching of students and residents during overnight shifts. Physicians practice across three emergency departments: BMC Main in Boston, BMC South in Brockton, and BMC Brighton. BMC Boston is the largest and busiest provider of trauma and emergency services in New England, with more than 130,000 annual ED visits and a Level-1 trauma designation. The department has over 75 physicians and 35 advanced practice providers, and BMC's emergency medicine residency is a four-year program and one of the oldest in the Northeast. Minimum requirements are completion of an ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine residency, ABEM or AOBEM board certification or eligibility, and Massachusetts medical licensure. Applications are reviewed immediately and continue until the positions are filled or the search closes. Send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and diversity contribution statement to Christian Arbelaez, MD, MPH, System Chief of Emergency Services, at Christian.Arbelaez@BMC.org.
