Job Overview
Rinse is hiring a Senior Front-End Developer for its San Francisco headquarters, to lead front-end software engineering for a clothing care brand built around customers, delivery valets, vendors and internal staff.
The senior engineer will build systems using mobile technology, optimisation algorithms, thoughtful interfaces and scalable back-ends, while also influencing technology decisions, leading other engineers and having a substantial voice across the company.
The role involves designing, building and maintaining software for a variety of users on both mobile and web platforms, working closely with marketing, product and operational teams to understand customers, vendors and drivers.
The developer will create intuitive, flexible and efficient interfaces, implementing scalable, maintainable and extensible software using React Native, Sass, Bootstrap.js and JQuery.
They will collaborate with the other developers in a small technical team, take part in recruiting and review efforts, and continue to grow their technical and professional skills.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mind, high ambiguity tolerance and intrinsic motivation, deep understanding of at least one part of the stack, and willingness to learn new technologies and touch other parts of the system.
They should want to contribute to a technical feature in full, from business case through design, documentation, implementation, testing, deployment, feedback and maintenance.
