UCSF Fitness & Recreation is hiring for a variety of aquatics positions. Below is a list of employment opportunities open to qualified candidates. How to Apply E-mail a resume, cover letter, valid and current certifications and a list of 3 references (2 professional and 1 personal) to aquatics@ucsf.edu: Lifeguards Our lifeguards are responsible for patron and facility safety, including in-water rescues, providing first aid, and enforcing facility rules. Lifeguards are also responsible for providing services to Fitness & Recreation members such as customer service, knowledge of program schedules, and facility amenities. Lifeguards are expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications We require a current and valid lifeguard and CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. A Title 22 Certification must be obtained within the first year of employment. Upon successful completion of our Lifeguard Training Course, please follow "How to Apply" instructions below.
