Quality Assurance Officer

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore, seeks a Quality Assurance Officer. Applicants need a BS, BSN or MS in Total Quality Management, Healthcare Management or Statistics, or be a medical graduate (MBBS), BDS, or hold a master's in Public Health or equivalent, with one year of experience preferred. The role needs excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to make effective presentations, and the ability to negotiate with internal customers. The officer must be computer literate, specifically in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SPSS. They must be able to work effectively under highly stressful situations and meet deadlines. Duties include conducting internal and external (third-party) audits, open and close medical chart audits, and periodic reviews of departmental quality systems to ensure round-the-clock compliance with applicable standards. They conduct awareness sessions on quality improvement standards and internal quality audits, assist the Head of Department primarily on JCIA-related initiatives and quality management system work, and help draft and develop institutional policies and audit performance improvement across departments.
