"## Non-Full Time Faculty – Interior Design Program
Location: Casa Loma Campus
George Brown Polytechnic is seeking non-fulltime/contract faculty to teach in our Interior Design Program.
The following positions are available:
1. Retail Store Design, Course Lecturer (2 hours per week): Winter semester. Teaching 2nd year students about all aspects of retail store interior design. This course is paired with studio.
2. Restaurant Design, Course Lecturer (2 hours per week): Fall semester. Teaching 3rd year students about all aspects of restaurant interior design. This course is paired with studio.
3. Office Design, Course Lecturer (2 hours per week): Winter semester. Teaching 3rd year students about all aspects of office interior design. This course is paired with studio.
4. History of World Design (3 hours per week): Spring semester. Teaching 4th year students about design from a non-western perspective.
5. Working Drawings (3 hours per week): Fall and Winter semesters. Teaching 4th year students how to create a complete construction drawing set.
## Qualifications
- Successful candidates must have a degree in interior design and preferably should be an ARIDO member.
- Working knowledge of other digital technologies such as AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
- Some recent teaching or mentoring experience at the post-secondary level and, in a community college, is strongly preferred.
- The ability to convey the conceptual and practical aspects of subjects to students, respecting their diverse backgrounds, experience and individual learning styles is also essential.
- Candidates must be willing to use advanced learning technologies, including online delivery.
