Shaukat Khanum's newly built tertiary cancer care facility in Karachi needs a full-time Consultant Anaesthetist.
The role sits in the Department of Anaesthesia, which manages the day-to-day anaesthetic care of cancer patients.
The appointee will work closely with other medical specialties toward the shared goal of improving cancer treatment outcomes.
Applicants must hold an MBBS degree as the base qualification.
Postgraduate credentials accepted include MRCP, FRCS, FRCR, FCA or MRCPath (or equivalent) with evidence of completed specialty training.
American Board certification with appropriate subspecialty boards is also accepted where applicable.
FCPS holders need completed specialty training, an appropriate subspecialty qualification, and at least three years of approved overseas experience.
Full and unencumbered PMDC registration is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
