Role Overview:
As a Staff Software Consultant at 10Pearls, you will lead backend architectural decisions, evaluate new technology stacks, and write elegant, maintainable code powering serverless and containerized systems on AWS.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and develop scalable Node.js and TypeScript services using serverless (AWS Lambda) and containerized patterns.
• Design event-driven messaging pipelines utilizing AWS EventBridge, SQS, and Kafka.
• Define database architecture and optimize performance across MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Set coding standards, review pull requests, and coach mid-level and junior engineers.
• Interface directly with US-based client technology leaders to align technical direction with product goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 6+ years of professional backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven expertise designing distributed systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Deep knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT), performance profiling, and caching strategies (Redis).
• Strong problem-solving mindset and excellent consultative communication skills.
