Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Long Term Ventilation at Wythenshawe Hospital (reference 349-WTWA-8268920-RL4).
The post provides maternity leave cover for 12 months at MT04 grade, working full time at 40 hours per week, with a salary of £67,325 per annum pro rata.
Based in the Directorate of Respiratory Medicine, the successful candidate will support the growth of the Long Term Ventilation service.
Duties include delivering inpatient and outpatient LTV care through specialist clinics, ward rounds, referral triage, management of inter-hospital transfers and multidisciplinary care planning.
The role offers hands-on experience in managing domiciliary non-invasive ventilation and invasive tracheostomy ventilation on the long-term ventilation unit.
The post holder will be encouraged to take part in the department's active audit and research portfolio, with full consultant cover and support from a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Applicants should be at the level of respiratory registrar or post CCT, be fully GMC registered, and have at least three years of clinical experience.
