The role supervises night-time operations across university residences, ensuring student safety, security and welfare overnight.
Duties include managing a team of night porters and wardens, responding to emergencies and incidents, and liaising with security services and emergency services.
The supervisor maintains accurate incident logs, conducts nightly patrols, and ensures buildings are secure and compliant with fire safety procedures.
Applicants should have supervisory experience, ideally in accommodation, hospitality or security settings, with a calm and professional manner under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with students are essential.
First aid certification and a full driving licence are desirable, with training provided.
This is a permanent full-time night-shift position with enhanced unsocial-hours pay.
