Job Overview
The Rader Lab in Boston Children's Hospital's Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator (IDHA) seeks a postdoctoral research fellow working at the intersection of disease surveillance, health informatics, and digital epidemiology.
The fellow will lead and contribute to projects using novel data streams and computational methods to detect, characterize, and forecast diverse threats to population health, and to evaluate how emerging digital tools perform in clinical and public health settings.
The lab's research has directly informed public health guidance, and its surveillance platforms are used by researchers, clinicians, and the public.
The fellow will build tools with real-world reach and have opportunities for peer-reviewed publication.
This is a one-year hybrid position with opportunity to extend, start date flexible with a preference for early 2027.
Candidates need a PhD in a discipline emphasizing quantitative modeling and scientific writing, completed recently or nearing completion, with strong computational skills in R and/or Python.
To apply, send a CV, research interests, and references to Dr. Benjamin Rader.
