Job Overview
The Computational Health Informatics Program (CHIP), a Harvard Medical School affiliate at Boston Children's Hospital, is recruiting postdoctoral fellows interested in advancing healthcare with genomics and artificial intelligence. Fellows will leverage AI to acquire, integrate, and reason over multimodal data spanning clinical, epidemiological, environmental, social, molecular, and genomic domains. Candidates must have a strong quantitative background and capacity for innovative biomedical inquiry or translation of computational methods to engineering or software applications in medicine. Applicants with interest in pediatric emergency medicine and acute care are especially encouraged to apply. All applicants must hold a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) and have a strong record of publishing. The program is funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development at NIH and is open only to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with early submission encouraged. Candidates submit a cover letter, research plan, and CV, while three current letters of reference are emailed directly by the letter writers or via a dossier service. The salary range is $70,000-$90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Reference letters go to the program contact email shown on the page, addressed to Program Director Kenneth D. Mandl, MD, MPH.
