Job Overview
The Fulton Lab at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to investigate the human visual system from its cellular mechanics to systemic health biomarkers, at the cutting edge of oculomics and AI/ML.
The fellow will use state-of-the-art multimodal adaptive optics (AO-SLO/OCT) to explore fundamental vision processing, inherited retinal diseases, and cellular-level optoretinography, mapping neural circuit architecture of healthy and diseased visual systems.
The research spans three pillars: basic and translational vision science, AI/ML model development and clinical data science, and clinical translation and regulatory science.
Candidates need a PhD (completed or near completion) in biomedical engineering, computer science, neuroscience, electrical engineering, physics, or a closely related quantitative discipline, with demonstrated expertise in deep learning and clinical image analysis.
Salary $70,000-$77,267 per year.
Interested candidates should email Dr. Anne Fulton with the subject line 'Postdoctoral Fellowship Application - Vision Science & Oculomics'.
