NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's Facilities Directorate is recruiting six Facilities Domestic Assistants for Clydebank Health Centre within the West Gartnavel sector.
The posts are part-time on weekday shifts, with morning (06:00 to 09:00) and evening (17:30 to 20:00) patterns available, or a combination of both, totalling around 14.54 or 12.24 hours per week.
The domestic assistant plays a critical role in keeping clinical and non-clinical areas clean and safe so staff can care for patients, carrying out routine daily and weekly cleaning as well as emergency tasks such as spills.
The role involves regular contact with patients, so good communication skills are essential.
Applicants need a positive, can-do attitude, strong organisational skills and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work as part of a very busy team.
All tasks must be carried out safely and to a very high standard, understanding that every task is essential.
Salary is pro rata for the part-time hours, and the trust cannot provide feedback on shortlisting due to the volume of applications.
The role does not meet eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa, so no Certificate of Sponsorship can be offered.
