NHS Lothian is recruiting a Clinical Psychologist at Assistant Psychologist grade for its adult mental health psychology service in Edinburgh.
The postholder will deliver psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions under the supervision of qualified clinical psychologists.
Duties include conducting structured clinical interviews, administering psychometric measures, and contributing to care planning and review meetings.
The role involves group work facilitation, audit and service evaluation activity, and maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
Applicants must hold an honours degree in psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society.
Experience of working in mental health settings, paid or voluntary, is essential, with strong interpersonal and report-writing skills.
The successful candidate will receive regular clinical supervision and support towards further professional development and doctoral training applications.
