NHS Lothian is recruiting a Clinical Psychologist (AP) at Senior Principal level, Band 8B.
The post is permanent and part time, 21.09 hours per week (0.57 WTE).
It is based in Learning Disabilities Specialist Inpatient Services at the Islay Centre, Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Edinburgh.
The role provides clinical leadership within the inpatient service.
Duties include direct assessment, formulation and intervention with patients.
The post-holder provides consultation to the multidisciplinary team.
The approach is grounded in Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed care.
Applicants need substantial post-qualification experience in learning disabilities.
