Job Overview
Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting an Administrative Officer for its Clinical Education Team in Women's Services (reference 002332).
The post is a permanent, full-time Band 3 position paying £25,760 to £27,476 per year, based at St James's University Hospital, Leeds.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to help the team coordinate education, training and development activity across maternity and gynaecology services.
Key responsibilities include coordinating training programmes and meetings, managing course bookings and attendance records, preparing agendas and minutes, and maintaining education databases and action trackers.
The role also involves supporting communications between learners and educators and helping to prepare reports and compliance information.
Day-to-day duties within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department include entering data onto internal and external databases, organising meetings and taking minutes, and at times contacting patients to arrange appointments.
The post holder will be expected to plan their own daily work within the department's priorities and to respond flexibly to the needs of the team and service.
Previous administrative experience is essential, while experience within the NHS or a healthcare environment would be an advantage; the team offers a supportive culture and opportunities to develop knowledge of NHS education systems.
