Job Overview
Buzzacott is seeking school-leavers with enquiring minds and a sociable disposition for its March 2027 intake of audit apprentices in its Charity and Not-for-Profit Team. With more than 130 audit specialists and 6 Partners, it is one of the largest single-office charity teams in the UK. Apprentices audit, advise and support a wide range of charities and not-for-profit organisations, including education, membership bodies, social enterprises, international NGOs, religious organisations and Arts and Culture charities. Alongside providing quality accounting and auditing services, apprentices study towards the AAT Level 3 and Level 4 qualification under a structured apprenticeship programme. Training combines courses at tutors' offices, private study and regular exams, alongside on-the-job training, with a view to further study towards ACA after completing the AAT. Apprentices receive paid study leave and all course and exam fees are paid for. As a trainee auditor, you will carry out audit work including visiting client sites mainly in and around London and the South East. You will keep Seniors, Managers and Partners informed of progress on the team's jobs and budget for your time, keeping costs within budget. For smaller assignments, you will plan and complete the audit file as per the Audit Completion Checklist. Applicants need 144 UCAS tariff points from 3 A-levels, Level 7 in GCSE Maths and English Language, MS Office skills, and the right to work in the UK without restrictions.
